Our Mission
At Yoga Bridge®, we believe in the healing power of yoga for those affected by cancer. Our mission is to support survivors through mindful movement, helping them regain strength, comfort, and a sense of control.

We believe that yoga has the power to change lives! Our experienced instructors understand the cancer journey and are here to walk beside you with empathy and care.We believe that yoga has the power to change lives!

How We Started

Yoga teachers Pamela Ryan and Susan Reeves met while teaching in Texas and discovered a shared passion for supporting people with cancer. They saw the need in their community for a specialized group class that could provide a safe and nurturing space for those healing from cancer. They had a vision that their nonprofit would create a bridge of strength, support, and serenity for those on their cancer journeys.

They created a nonprofit offering safe, supportive yoga classes tailored to the unique needs of cancer survivors. They named it Yoga Bridge, symbolizing the connection and bridge they hoped to build between the practice of yoga and the lives of those touched by cancer.

Yoga Bridge teachers offer a unique approach of physical postures, breathwork, and meditation, tailored specifically to the needs of those dealing with cancer's challenges. The classes not only provide a space for physical healing but also foster emotional and mental well-being, nurturing a sense of community and hope.

Yoga Bridge wouldn't be where we are today without the support of  Foundation 56, nonprofit of Dallas Cowboy Bradie James, Medical City Denton, Medical City Flower Mound, and Texas Oncology Denton.
