BIG NEWS
AT YOGA BRIDGE!
We're 12 years old!

Pamela Ryan and Susan Reeves, long-time teachers in the yoga community, saw a need for yoga for people with cancer, so they created a special class just for that population. In 2011, they  partnered with Foundation56, nonprofit of retired Dallas Cowboy Bradie James, Medical City Denton, and Texas Oncology Denton to launch Yoga Bridge.

Yoga Bridge provides a unique model of yoga as a means of supporting those in the healing process of a cancer diagnosis. Online yoga classes for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers are small and allow each student to receive attention. These classes are taught by registered yoga teachers, trained specifically by Yoga Bridge to teach yoga for cancer.

"We never dreamed we'd meet so many precious friends on the day we founded Yoga Bridge in a Starbuck's down the street. Now we're celebrating 12 years of wonderful memories and hope for the future." ~Susan
